A Donation Drive to Benefit

VISIT lakeshorehumane.org/adopt TO LEARN MORE ABOUT THE FEATURED ADOPTABLE PETS

Operation Santa Paws is an opportunity for community members to help provide food and supplies for the care of homeless dogs and cats in Manitowoc County.

Stop by our studio and select a paper ornament off of our Giving Tree.

Each ornament will list an item to donate that will help in the care of the nearly 1,500 lost and homeless animals coming through the Lakeshore Humane Society doors each year.

There are many items on the tree, some large and some small.

Donations should be placed under our tree by DECEMBER 27

You can also take a look at our Paw-liday Wish List and bring any of these items to our giving tree.

About the Lakeshore Humane Society

Our Mission: Aid, Advocate, Adopt to enrich the lives of companion animals.

The Lakeshore Humane Society, Inc. (LHS) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit open-admission animal shelter serving the Manitowoc County area for over 45 years. The LHS mission is to ensure humane and compassionate treatment of all animals entrusted to its care, reunite lost animals with their owners, place adoptable animals in responsible and permanent homes, and extend humane education to the public. Although we receive a small amount of support from municipality stray contracts, we mainly rely on private donations and grants to continue our programs and work in the community.

LHS cares for over 1,500 companion animals annually, placing over 900 animals each year in responsible, permanent homes.
