Catlovers! New Dating App Just for You

International Cat Day is August 8, and if you don't want to celebrate alone, check out the new app, Tabby.

That's right -- it's a dating app for cat lovers.

People got a peek at the app, which was created by sisters Leigh and Casey Isaacson, which they say will let "Cat-lovers...meet each other, plan cat-friendly dates, get deals from cat companies, and share videos, photos, and stories all while their cats are in their element -- at home."

Nathan Kehn, an actor who has cats, was quoted in the app's press release declaring, "Cat people are just as unique as the cats they love, but we understand each other. Finding someone who loves cats the way that you do is vital."

Apparently, cat people need the help in the dating app department. A recent study showed that men who have cats in their online dating profile are perceived as less masculine and more neurotic, and therefore do more poorly when it comes to getting those key swipes right.

Leigh and Casey Isaacson aren't playing feline favorites, either -- two years ago, they introduced a similar dating app for dog lovers.
