Free Pizza Leaves Man Terrified & Unable to Sleep

Most people would relish at the prospect of receiving free pizza, but apparently its not all it's cracked up to be -- at least to a pair of Belgian men.

According to The Independent, 65-year-old Jean Van Landeghem has been tormented with delivery drivers popping up at his residence to deliver pizza and other food items he did not order for over 10 years. At first he chalked it up to a mixup with the address but took it more seriously when, in January 2019, 10 different deliveries showed up at his door, one of them with a whopping 14 pizzas.

Landeghem told a local Belgian newspaper that the unwanted deliveries have left him terrified and unable to get a good night's rest.

"I cannot sleep anymore. I start shaking every time I hear a scooter on the street," he said. "I dread that someone will come to drop off hot pizzas yet another time."

Fortunately, he hasn't been stuck with the bill for all of the food because he refuses the delivery, however, the situation has been a pesky one for both him and the restaurants. And, believe it or not, he's not the only one who has had to deal with this issue.

The Belgian man revealed that a friend of his who lives about 20 miles away has dealt with a situation much like this one for about the same amount of time.

The prankster has not been caught yet but both men, as well as the police, believe that the culprit is someone they both know.

Landeghem said when they finally do find out the culprit's identity, it "will not be their best day."
