Six people are in custody after attempting to change to the Los Angeles' famous Hollywood sign to read "Hollyboob."
"A few hours ago, a group attempted to vandalize the Hollywood sign," Captain Steve Lurie of the LAPD tweeted on Monday. "Los Angeles landmarks are precious to those of us @LAPDHollywood and this was way uncool (not to mention the terrain is quite steep & dangerous)."
LAPD officers took all six people into custody.
The sign is protected with gates and sensors and entering the property is considered trespassing, although it hasn't kept trespassers from altering the sign in the past.
It was once changed it to read "Hollyweed" in 2017. It was also rearranged to "Holywood" for a visit by the pope in 1987.
