Police Delivers Pizza After Arresting Delivery Driver
During a routine traffic stop, officers from the Murrieta, California Police Department discovered the driver had an outstanding felony warrant -- and a pizza to deliver as well.
Not to worry though; the cops got their man and thanks to Officer John McCarthy, the customer got his pizza, still piping hot.
"Unfortunately the driver had to be arrested for their warrant but fear not," Murrieta Police officers wrote in a post on Instagram. "Officer McCarthy stepped in to fill the delivery driver's shoes and got the pizza to the hungry citizen."
As an added bonus, the customer didn't even have to tip his delivery driver.
"The smile on the hungry citizens face was all the 'tip' needed to know we are doing our job," the police wrote in the post.
